Tomb Raider publisher sells iconic video game franchise to invest in blockchain

Video game publisher Square Enix announced on Thursday that it will be selling its iconic Tomb Raider franchise.

Tomb Raider, which was originally published by Core Design and later Eidos Interactive, was acquired by Square Enix in 2006 when it bought Eidos. It remains one of the best-known franchises in video game history.
